Along with bird and nature lovers from all over the world, the Leica team in the UK is getting ready for the annual Birdfair in Rutland Water that will take place from 19 to 21 August. If you are planning to attend the Birdfair, make sure to say hello to the Leica team. They will be available to demonstrate the products, offer advice and answer any questions throughout the show. As a long-term exhibitor and sponsor of the event, Leica will be located at the end of the Optics Marquee overlooking the lake, showcasing its entire range of Ultravid binoculars, monoculars, Apo-Televid spotting scopes and digital cameras, as well as its award-winning digiscoping equipment (Stand Number 8).

In addition to demonstrating products and answering questions, there will be expert presentations and appearances from guest speakers on the Leica stand, including TV naturalist Nick Baker, world record holder Alan Davies, and Leica’s own birding expert from the US, Jeff Bouton.

If this isn’t enticing enough, Leica will also be hosting an exciting free prize draw to win a superb digiscoping kit consisting of a Leica Apo-Televid 82 with zoom eyepiece, digiscoping adaptor and D-Lux 5 digital camera. Entry forms will be available on the Leica stand, and the prize draw will take place at midday on Sunday 21 August. Full terms and conditions for the prize draw will be available at www.leica-camera.co.uk.

If you’re interested in attending the Birdfair, more details about the show and registration are available at: http://www.birdfair.org.uk/.

We look forward to welcoming you to the Leica stand at Birdfair 2011!
